Author’s transparency is heart felt.
Thank you for Advocating for Black men to do therapy and unravel their trauma with dads. This book was enlightening not just for men readers but women as well. It’s mind boggling that some want to put in the work to be on the journey to heal while others want to keep lying to themselves for comfort purposes. Thank you Author.

An honest reveal of a man that has grown and learned valuable lessons throughout his life.
When listening to each chapter, I found it more and more relatable to my life and struggles. The book reminded me that we all go through the same things, although the path may be different. I’ve enjoyed both of CTG previous books, but i think this may be his best work yet! Excellent book!

Enjoyable & thought enticing
Thought provoking, vulnerable and loved the references to hip hop. Made me think about how I approach conversations. Understand the need to be direct, however depending on who you’re speaking with some people need a warm up / small talk before you get to the point. Know your audience and pivot accordingly.
